Sunshine in a Jar Press welcomes submissions to its new anthology “The Writing Spiral.”

We are looking for pieces about learning, teaching, mentoring, coaching, writing, changing, growing, creating, and sharing. We are looking for pieces about love, loss, joy, decadence, deprivation, hope, fear, friendship, family, work, social responsibility, health, culture, light, and darkness. This is a book for writers and writing book junkies. We aim to capture the spirit of anything to do with writing, creativity, and learning.

Go where the theme leads you. Why did you decide to become a writer? What makes a writer distinct? Describe the experience of learning. What does learning look like? Has learning to write changed you?  How does creativity move through your life? Writers of all ages, stages, and places welcome. Due March 1, 2014.
